On July 11 and 12, we presented the results of our energy storage systems project for Ecuador, contracted by the World Bank. The event on April 11 saw the attendance of several notable figures, including the Minister of Energy of Ecuador and the Ambassador of Korea, who co-financed the project alongside the WB.
The project, funded by the World Bank and the Korean Cooperation Fund, involved a comprehensive evaluation of the current energy storage systems available in the market. Additionally, it included a technical and economic analysis of the benefits these systems could bring to the operation of Ecuador’s power system. The results of this analysis were presented to the Minister of Energy of Ecuador, the Ambassador of Korea in Quito, top executives of electric companies, and academic institutions.
This collaborative effort marks a significant step toward enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of Ecuador’s energy infrastructure.
