Master Plan for Electricity Generation and Transmission (2021-2035) for West Bank

The scope of the project is to carry out a Master Development Plan of the electricity networks of West Bank that addresses all aspects concerning the long-term or strategic planning, meeting the power demand for the socio-economic development of the country. This process also shall promote the development of power generation from renewable energy.

To this end two activities shall be undertaken and developed in parallel:

• developing an electricity master plan through the analysis of the existing conditions, the demand forecasting and the least cost generation, transmission and interconnection development plan up to the year 2035.
• technology transferring and capacity building through on-the-job training, seminars and technical workshops
